Thanks for visiting my site. I learned so much  building this site and the projects containted here through my course work at Madison Area Technical College!

East Side Club Website Redesign

East Side Club was the client I had the pleasure of helping in Web Design Project Management class. Their previous site was not meeting the aesthetic they were looking to portray for their business. They have a beautiful location on Lake Monona, with astonishing views of the Capital building. They needed their website to reflect that. Throughout the creation of this site I encountered many digital challenges I never expected, including investigating who their host was, proper admin logins, and other challenges.  There had been many changes in their staff, and know one knew any of these details! I learned an incredible amount of patience and perseverance through this and I feel like the challenges were what made this experience the most rewarding.

Pooley's Sports Bar Website

Pooley’s Sports Bar, on High Crossing Blvd in Madison, WI, hired me to redesign their website. They needed users to have the capability to register and pay for volleyball leagues online as well as update to a more modern, responsive website. From start to finish I completed this project all on my own.

Design Your Own Tote Bag

I dabbled in javascript a little to write a simple program that enables users to design their own tote bag and add it to their shopping cart. The cart then computes tax and total amount due.

Fitrition Genius App

Fitrition Genius is a fitness and nutrition app designed with both personal trainer and client needs in mind. This app differs from others in the market by offering everything in one place. Results driven tracks nutrition, allows trainers to track and prescribe workouts, has access to a large video library for exercise demonstrations, offers scheduling and messaging, all in one app. Fitrition is in a rebranding stage currently, it originally started as an app called Results Driven but that name didn’t lend well to it being a fitness and nutrition app.

Vans Website Redesign

Vans has over 50 years of connecting to youth culture and they continue to advocate for action sports while recognizing the global “Off The Wall” connection between their brand and art, music, and street culture enthusiasts. This website redesign was created with this in mind, they are fun and funky and colorful and grungy. I tried to capture that, along with their native California feel, in my photo treatments while keeping the focus on the ultimate reason their website exists, to showcase their products and affect the bottom line. Marketing at its finest.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I had to choose a client and create an animation that demonstrates a process that relates to your client. I decided to choose Wonder Bread and create a video explaining how to make a grilled cheese sandwich. I wanted the video to be fun and playful, I hope you enjoy the humor. Motion is very quickly becoming one of my favorite aspects of being a digital designer and I can’t wait to do more of it.

Build the Buzz

I was challenged to “build the buzz” by creating a social media campaign for a festival. Wally Fest seemed like the perfect event to help me develop my design skills creating the currently trendy 80’s style. I fell in love with their current mascot, Wally the walrus, and wanted to give him a fun home set in the 80’s, what better way to do that than with metal and neon.
